April is Daffodil Month, a time in which Canadians are encouraged to support the fight against cancer. While the fight never truly stops, it is a great time to look at the latest in evidence-informed information on the topic and consider how to reduce our cancer risk. Staying physically active, eating a healthy and nutritious diet and maintaining a healthy weight are just a few of the ways we can reduce our chances of getting cancer and other serious diseases.
